Girl’s Night!

Girl’s Night!

In a previous blog post, I mentioned I was nervous to go out dancing. The other night turned out to be super fun. Sure it was touch and go with my social anxiety for a bit, but the overall night was great!

We all hopped in my car and headed to Sac. When we got there we stopped at Pieology. It took me about five minutes to park because there was only a meter parking available and I had to back in, but kept getting too close to the curb so the doors wouldn’t open! Finally, we were able to get out. For any of you who don’t know what Pieology is, it’s like a Subway for pizza, you get to build your own pizza and it only takes five minutes to make. The pizza was so good!!

We were then off to the hotel. We stayed at the Hampton inn & Suites near Cal Expo, the staff was great and gave excellent customer service! After checking in, we ran up to our hotel room and turned on some music to get ready to. It took us about an hour to finish getting ready and then we ate and drank while taking pictures and dancing around the room to music. Eventually our Uber driver arrived and took us to the club. This was my first experience with Uber and the man was very nice and courteous when driving us.

We go to the club, Mangos, and the line was so long. It was wrapped around the building. The one thing I didn’t like about the location of Mangos  was that there were train tracks behind it and if the line was long enough it would have to cross the tracks and I don’t think that’s safe at all. Maybe the tracks aren’t in use though. Anyway we waited in line for about an hour and a half. The whole time we all had to use the restroom so bad! When  they let us in we made a bee line straight to the bathroom. We made it to the dance floor and started dropping it like its hot. Grabbed a few drinks and continued to dance until one of the security guards wanted one of our friends to leave so we all left with her and went back to the hotel.

When we reached the hotel, we spilled through the lobby laughing and recapping our evening. When we got into our room, we all changed into comfy clothes. We started eating and drinking and of course started having heart to hearts. Finally we all drifted off to sleep and it was great.

I had my first girl’s night with my new friends and had a blast. Have ya’ll had any girl’s nights lately? How was it?

Ya’ll are amazing,

Cecilia Marlena
